I’m an Indian Awesome Just Live Shirt and I don’t about the rest of the country but we also celebrated this! My grandma used to call the day before Diwali Kitto ki Diwali ( Diwali for dogs). She used to prepare special paranthas for them and feed the neighborhood dogs in our village. Yea but we mostly just put paint on their foreheads and sometimes too much of it. Nobodies really celebrating dogs any more than we celebrate crows on their day. But Reddit doesn’t give to shits about the other animals we celebrate so this gets reposted every single year. Out of curiosity, are tourists/outsiders able to join in the celebrations?

The other day Awesome Just Live Shirts my white boxer/pitbull was helping me “load the dishwasher”. I guess my Hawaiian punch glass wasn’t completely empty on the top shelf as she was licking plates on the bottom shelf. She came out with a red drip down her forehead just like the dog in the pic. I thought my dog was going to die last week. Turns out he was just dehydrated and had a tummy ache. Still quite serious but he’s doing much better now. You can bet I’m spoiling the shit out of him now! “Oh, you want some chicken? Ok, good boy! Now you want my banana? Shiiiitt lemme feed it to you. Your mouth-watering for some of this apple.
