From what I’ve looked at, especially when they removed the Grateful I Lose Myself In Books Because Reality Is A Mess Owl Shirt. The majority of people don’t care, while a small number of people really care. Honestly, I think it would be fine with proper effort (silver wig, contacts and fully painting the lips even on the inside). And a dark shade of blue, purple, or grey rather than jet black. Problem is, I don’t expect that effort for a Halloween costume, so probably just use a mask or no facepaint at all. The blackface, and Chang’s ignorance of its racist significance, was literally the joke.

It was a great joke, and they even addressed the Grateful I Lose Myself In Books Because Reality Is A Mess Owl Shirts. But it’s still a joke about blackface. I’ve noticed that D&D has slowly moved from Drows having deep purple skin to a brighter shade of violet. More blue than black. I’m all for it, I don’t have a problem with the original. But I also understand if they want to move away from it. The consensus is that they aren’t portraying a black character. But a drow which is a fictional species (as that’s what many people are calling fantasy race now). It’s like dressing up as a Xenomorph, which is a separate species from humans and they have black skin.

The sweater is perfect and it’s well made clearly of quality materials not like most ; holiday sweaters. I am 6’3 with 50 inch shoulders and it fits perfectly as a large. The sweater is long so do not be afraid if your on the tall side. Its warm and soft and gets lots of laughs and smiles. You will be very happy with it I know I am I am just a little bummed I can only wear it one month out of the year as this is a quality item and one you will be happy when you pull it out for the holiday season for years to come.

Thin summer T-shirt but, cute sayings. Bought them for my teenage son and he loved them. I wash them in cold and low dry to keep them from fading……So far so good. I’ve had the shirts about 6 months and they have lasted the way I do them. Quality is in line with Kohl’s, Ross and J/C. Penney T-shirts….Better than Walmart but, not as good as Polo. I’d give them a 6 on a 1 to 10 rating scale.

My dad recently went to live in a nursing home and Dad is not overly vocal. For one thing, he is blind so he doesn’t always know when someone is around him. I got a series of funny t-shirts in hopes people would laugh at them or make a comment to Dad about his t-shirt. Mission accomplished. It’s not that the shirt is all that great. But it’s everything I expected, which I’m still not sure about.
Wore it to an emotionally and politically charged demonstration (protest) and noticed lots of people reading it. Which makes perfect sense and is the best kind of funny. This is my most meaninglessly ambiguous shirt and I wish I could justify wearing it all the time.
I guess the “meaning” is to encourage the challenging of the status quo. And now it’s not funny anymore. If anyone wants an XL, just hit me up.

Here’s why I’m writing a review, because I had read a lot of reviews before buying this shirt and the one that influenced me to buy it was the one that said the graphic didn’t look near as big when they received the shirt, which they liked (and I would have liked) as well as it wasn’t terribly plasticy. Well, I don’t know what shirt they got, the graphics on the one I received looked even bigger than the picture, screaming out the message and made of thick plastic. I never would have bought it had I known. I gave it as a present anyway so didn’t return it, but was disappointed.

I purchased a size large. It will be a Christmas present for my son. It is a Delta t-shirt and feels like every other Delta or Gilden t-shirt. They are thick and feel somewhat coarse/scratchy. A soft sleep shirt this is not. The lettering is the exact size as I expected when viewing the pictures. I find the lettering size to be appropriate in comparison to the size of the shirt. The shirt itself is larger than other size larges that I have purchased for him. I would say it is in between a typical size large and an xtra large. It is not a favorite but it is funny and I think it will make him laugh so it stays.
