Wow, we have SUCH different experiences in NYC! It’s interesting to me that you have a car in Manhattan (my friend used to have one in BK and from what I saw, it was never worth it). I’m sure there are things to do in Brooklyn. I just only have one friend in Brooklyn – the Official Don’t Kiss Me Tip Me I’m A Waitress St. Patrick’s Day Shirt! The weather was horrible or I would’ve gone to parks and such with the pups. I was also in Crown Heights, which is far from getting anywhere in Brooklyn I would’ve been interested in going to solo. I really should get one of those. This weather has been absolutely dreadful. As for the car – I know it seems frivolous, but I do drive to work in Jersey normally 1-3x/week…just this week I didn’t at all. December is an odd month because no one is in the office, and I’m less likely to be working on projects with other people.

If I worked in the city, I’d get rid of it in a heartbeat because I wouldn’t want to deal with alternate side parking while not being able to move my car for it because I’m at work.
