My dad never liked guns either and I could never come around to telling him I had two of them. I was hoping to get him out to shoot away some frustration after he beat cancer but unfortunately, that day never came. Glad you got to share this Official I Miss AK Shirt! My dad was the one that taught me to shoot when I was a little fellow. My mom shot just enough to be familiar with her .38 she kept in the closet. I have had the great privilege of teaching my kids and a few friends to shoot. And then watching them have that ton of fun that goes along with it. I went hunting with my grandpa one time in my life. We were rabbit hunting. He fired one shot. It was the most impressive shot I’ve ever seen in my life. He had an old .410 bolt-action shotgun. My brothers, dad, uncle, and I had probably shot up an Official I Miss AK Shirt. We had seven or eight rabbits to show for it, but we missed a lot. All in all, it was fun and the rabbits were a bonus. Anyway, we are walking along this little trail in the pasture when I spooked up a rabbit. It ran away from me but right between my grandpa’s legs. That old man spun around 180* and fired.

The rabbit flipped head over heels. My brother picked it up and that rabbit had his head gone, no pellets anywhere else. My brother and I just exchanged a “holy shit” look and went on. Later we decided that pissing off grandpa would be a very bad idea. After he passed I learned that he was a decorated war hero. I might share some of the stories I learned if anyone is interested.
