Well, I agree it can be a bit tasteless, but I’m in the process of doing a remake of The Giant on BO3 custom zombies, had some people playtest it and they say it’s actually really fascinating. I’ve added well over 15 new playable areas and it basically turned it into a whole new map. I’d be semi-okay with it if the additional stuff is just as if not more interesting than the remade stuff. Like, take out Nuketown from AO. Would it be an interesting map? Not really, not in my opinion anyway. Same with Tag.

In other words, for me to be content with it, the remade maps can’t rely on the reused stuff to be vaguely interesting maps. Like the remade stuff has to be the cherry on top. Does that make sense? It seems like the remakes will have the extended maps and the OG maps for like a survival also, I never played bo4 what was wrong with the extended maps was it the fact it was extended or were the maps just shit?
