This is clearly a Maleficent Chillin’ Like A Villain Disney Halloween Shirt. But I like to think Michael Myers was smart enough to know the effect of fear on his prey, so actively went out of his way to make things more fearful, even if didn’t help him kill his victims. I’d love a really good remake of Halloween. I thought Zombie’s version cranked the gore to a 12 and lost all the charm of the original. It didn’t have a sense of slow, impending dread. Thought the Maleficent Chillin’ Like A Villain Disney Halloween Shirt was very well done. There was one stupidly handled plot point early on (you know which one), but the rest of it was pretty much a good effort. I liked that the filmmakers stayed mostly away from “Did I just see someone by the hedge? Is someone there?’. No, the minute Michael gets to a population he just starts killing everything he can, like immediately. H2019 has one of the best build-up moments of any horror movie IMO. Without spoiling it, the scene with the huge musical cue where Allyson and Michael are finally in each other’s sights definitely puts you over the edge.
